Walt, get over the sponsorship BS. If you think you will get a sponsorship of any caliber, think again. WE HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER TO A SPONSOR. Lets win a tourney, heck, lets win against a decent level team. You are whoring the Explicit name out there to everyone you can, and all that will do is make the team look naive and noobish. I will not compromise my halo for 10% off the MSRP of a VL hopper, nor will I purchase ANYHTHING I don't believe in. So if you plan on applying to WDP, Odessey(halo), NXe, or Planet Eclipse, Im game, if not, dont. we are not at the level that we need to be to look at serious sponsors. I have been sponsored by KAPP, Demonic, Allen Paintball, Smart Parts, Airgun Designs, Ricochet, Bunker King, CSG, Severe, Speed, WDP, NXe, Crossfire, etc... they want results, they want wins, not a noob team. I was part of VERY successful teams which had REAL sponsorship packages. My angel was $650 when they were selling for $1495, thats a deal. NXe gear was free. CSG free. Ricochet had $20 hoppers that were $99 at the time. Severe, $20 a case. Bunker King $20 pants MSRP $129.99
My suggestion, Captainism 101, Public Relations 101.
Win a game, with or without the shades, get our name out there,a nd let the sponsors come to explicit.

I am sorry if it seems like I am doing too much. These were only ideas, I am trying really hard to keep everything running. I am very professional when writing these letters and am not looking to sleeper the name of our team out what so ever. My main focus is having practice on a weekly basis and getting better as a team. But thank you for the input Donnie. If you can help out in the future that would be great. Thanks

I have done ALOT already.
Whether you get any level 1 sponsorships or not, I think that as a whole, nobody will be willing to buy their product at a minimal savings. As far as major corporations, do you believe we will get sponsored by REDBULL? C'mon now... there are more important things to focus on... i.e. the information I need to use the explicitpaintball.com name on the internet, getting photos, creating relationships with other teams in our caliber for closed practices. Maybe getting this jersey idea off the ground? i dunno... I play as hard as I can, we all do, but without bringing something to the table, Team Explicit isnt going to get anything. You are teh captain of a rookie team, you have alot of work to do to bring this team up to par to perform in a major tourney in two weeks... can you do it?

I know you have and I thank you very much for it, you have done a hell of a job. This weekend will be critical we need two days of good 5 man practice. I have the heart and desire for the team to win and to be very successful.

come on guys we need to focus and get gpl event one over with and thats all we need to worry about right now. forget the sponsorships for right now if we do well in event one i have a few things lined up that i will be talking to the people about here in the next few days. lets get this nuts over with and worry about doing well.

Sorry I had to leave earlier. I had to go to class to ace a test. Your right James. Lets really focus this weekend. I am going to have practice at Del Hobbies on both Saturday and Sunday; as of now not too sure on Sat because the last time I checked they were calling for rain. As I posted earlier I would like everyone to be there both days. I know everyone may not be able to because of important obligations such as work. But if you can only choose one day please tell me in advance so we can work around it. Lets think about our assignments as stated earlier.
James- Back
Brett- Back
Donnie- Mid
Walt- Mid
Ryan- Front
Brad- alternate for all positions

I will drop this sponsorship thing for now. We will focus on that later after we start playing in GPL. Practice on drills at your house or with a friend or workout. We need to be the best we can be come two weeks from now and we have two practices to perfect it. If anyone has any questions please contact me via cell phone or PM. I will keep everyone abreast throughout the week.
